The director of LinkedIn in Spain and Portugal, Sarah Harmon, has a degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas (United States). After finishing her studies, she completed an MHA at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.

This is how Harmon began her professional career in the health sector, developing solutions and IT systems for this area. During her career outside of Spain, it is worth noting her experience as the business manager and eHealth director at large companies such as Cerner Corporation and United Healthcare.

Before joining LinkedIn, she transformed her career with international experience in Spain at Microsoft Ibérica in 2004. In the nine years she worked at Microsoft, her responsibilities included collaborative product market development, business intelligence, enterprise search and SaaS. Since November 2013, her work has mostly involved directing and expanding LinkedIn as a professional network. This year Harmon will participate in the European Ecommerce Conference.

Jonathan Wichmann (b. 1978) is a social business and digital strategist. He has co-founded both Orca Social, a member-based consultancy for B2B companies, and Wichmann/Schmidt, a creative agency. From 2011-13, Jonathan was the Head of Social Media for shipping giant Maersk Line, a job for which he won numerous awards and got international attention. He holds a BA in Literature, is a copywriter by trade and is the author of “Leth og kedsomheden”, a book about boredom.

Founded in 2009, Habitissimo has already found its niche in the Spanish, Italian, Brazilian, Colombian, Argentinean and Chilean markets. With a corporate spirit and in-depth knowledge of entrepreneurship, startups and Ecommerce, Ber Martí has turned Habitissimo into an established company on the internet with more than 270,000 registered professionals and a strong international presence.

This year Ber Martí will participate at the European Ecommerce Conference 2015.

Gustavo Lascurain is the general manager of Pasaban, a family business with a paper making tradition specializing in the design and production of equipment for paper and cardboard finishing since 2008. After a process of professionalization at the company, managed by Lascurain, Pasaban has become the top seller of paper and cardboard cutters in the world, exporting 97% of its production to more than 40 countries.

Lascurain has also worked further afield than the paper sector. This industrial engineer began his career at the Tekniker Technological Center as an industrial consultant. Then he worked for Accenture and Goialde, where he became company manager. Thanks to Lascurain’s project ideas, Goialde managed to breathe new life into the company’s investments, reaching a high level of automation and doubling sales.

His vast experience will make him the perfect speaker at the European Ecommerce Conference 2015.

Juan Antonio Navarro has spent his entire professional career working in IT and business development. It was while studying at university that this expert began to develop an interest in IT. Consequently, he started working in Systems and creating business opportunities when the internet was just emerging.

In 1998 he joined Amadeus Spain to develop a tour operation platform in the Product area. Then in 2011 he was appointed Head of the Technology and Internet Department, offering Ecommerce solutions to travel agencies across the country. In 2008 he was the Director of Business Development until he took on his current position as Head of Ecommerce in 2012.

This year he will be up on stage at the European Ecommerce Conference 2015 to share his vast experience with us.

And it’s safe to say that this industrial engineer has accomplished his mission. The CEO of SoloStocks will be up on stage at this ninth edition of the European Ecommerce Conference to share his expertise with us.

Carbajo is also the author of the book “Conseguir lo imposible” (Achieve the Impossible), dealing with how to take advantage of new technologies in online selling, even when companies have few resources to launch their activity.

Since 2008, Josean Rodríguez has managed and performed tasks in the areas of communication and digital strategy at the Gipuzkoa Business Association (Adegi). His main responsibility is to create digital content (both audiovisual and materials related to his role as community manager).

He is convinced that knowledge professionals in the industrial sector must have digital skills and know how to develop a good online brand strategy. From his leadership role, he does his best to teach and preach so that the corporate world integrates this knowledge in its sales and communication processes. This year he will take part in the European Ecommerce Conference 2015.

Given his strong entrepreneurial profile, in 2011 he was selected to trial an Entrepreneur Forum at the association, with the goal of creating a place to explore the knowledge generated by leading entrepreneurs from Gipuzkoa. His motivation: to facilitate a common space where members could connect their talents, and share their experiences and knowledge across different fields.
